Reason for recall
On affected vehicles there is potential for MG4 vehicles to superlock whilst still in running mode when the vehicle comes to a stop. The doors are locked and cannot be opened by the interior/exterior handles the remote key is disabled and the windows will not function.
How to check if the vehicle is recalled
Contact the local MG MOTOR dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
How the manufacturer will repair
The remedy involves a software update.
